The Dictionary of Dutch Women is not the only reference source offering information on women of the past. There are comparable projects in other countries as well as biographical reference sources of a more general nature offering information about women. Should you feel that after consulting the Dictionary of Dutch Women you need more information, it may be worthwhile to have a look at one of the other biographical sources listed below (these are mainly in Dutch).
