Particulars First return fleet (5491-5497) under command of Arnold de Vlaming van Oudshoorn(t) aboard the WAPEN VAN HOLLAND and Jakob Willemsz. (vice-comm. @+@ ). At the Cape the fleet waited for the return fleet of 30-01-1662. Johan van der Laan became the new commander. The ARNHEM was wrecked at Brandao, an island east of Madagascar (12-02-1662); about 80 survivors reached Mauritius and were picked up later.
