Particulars In December, 1793, the SCHELDE had departed from China to sail to Batavia, where it cast anchor on 05-01-1794. One source indicates, that the ship did not sail for the Chamber Zeeland, but for Amsterdam. The dates of the call at the Cape are unknown. In 1795 the SCHELDE was confiscated by the English at Plymouth.
